Born and bred on Long Island in New York, Dana Nolan studied Criminal Justice at the University at Albany before following her dreams as a makeup artist. Soon after graduating, she decided to pursue her passion for makeup artistry. This lead to Dana attending Make-up Designory in Soho, New York where her talent and creativity flourished. Her skills include a wide range of makeup techniques from natural beauty makeup, bridal makeup, fashion makeup, editorial makeup, airbrush makeup and special effects. She has also studied hair styling, opening her creativity to many directions including period styled hair, fashion hairstyles, and experience with a variety of hot tools. Dana draws inspiration from her past education in Criminal Justice, her environment in NYC and the beautiful yet sometimes distorted world around us.
